I have been waiting for you.
Do you have either chronic or acute injuries?
Do you suffer from immobility, stiffness, aches, or pain?
Are you stressed out, over-tired or anxious?
I can help.
Because
pain is usually neuropathic in nature. 9 out of 10 people can ease their pain.
Neuropathic pain is a chronic condition and usually the result of, or accompanied by, an injury, surgery, disease, or infection. It is, however, not directly caused by it. The body sends pain signals through nerves because the nerves are over-excited.
You will usually experience some of the following:
– shooting, burning, or stabbing pain
– tingling and numbness
– “pins and needles”
– pain that occurs without a trigger
– pain that comes and goes or moves
– pain caused by experiences that are typically not painful, such as rubbing against something
– chronic sensation of feeling unpleasant
Acupuncture and manual therapy address the problem at the CORE.
That is …
The Nerves
When pain is gone, the function and the range of motion can improve drastically.
The nerves constantly fire up and this is why you feel pain. Chasing the pain or killing it with medication hardly ever works. Over time the body gets used to the chemicals that numb you, while the problem is still there, at the core of dysfunction.
Your body is naturally powerful to mend and heal, but when a part of it gets stuck into an inhibition or nerve excitement, it needs help.
The Solution
The solution is to encourage the body to heal within by sending the appropriate signals.
Acupuncture, manual therapy or cupping are modalities to effectively stimulate both blood and lymph circulation and interact with the nerves and the fascia. This changes the brain chemistry and activates our healing mode, boosting the production of endorphins and enkephalins – our natural pain relief messengers.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a safe and effective therapy that eases pain and encourages healing. It involves inserting extremely fine, sterile, single use needles into specific points in the body. These points have been found effective in relieving pain or for the treatment of specific health issues.
Acupuncture is based on the concept of Qi that flows through channels along the human body. These pathways are correlated with the vascular and nervous systems.
The insertion of needles at the appropriate locations acts to restore balance and helps the body to return to homeostasis.
Acupuncture adjusts the flow of Qi (and blood) in the body leading it to areas where it is deficient and draining it where it is excessive. In this way, acupuncture restores the harmonious balance of Body and Mind.
Response to Treatment
The response to treatment varies. Some people experience a good improvement after the first session, while others may need a few treatments before seeing improvement.
Acute conditions may be resolved in 2 or 3 treatments. Chronic conditions often need more sessions, usually combined with cupping, guasha, tuina or heat therapy. Usually, 2-3 treatments per week are recommended for the first two weeks, then once a week.
The use of a holistic approach enables the treatment of the whole person. Most people find unexpected benefits above and beyond their initial reason for seeking treatment. Examples include improved sleep or digestion; improved mental clarity; improved energy, inner balance, and improved sense of well-being.
Appointments
Appointments last up to 1.15min. Some cases require a short insertion of needles, 10-15min, while other cases need 30-40min. Please allow additional 20-30min for the initial consultation.
You are welcome to come for one-off treatment to find out how you like it.

Cupping
Cupping improves circulation, eases pain and inflammation, and achieves relaxation. It works as a deep-tissue massage which is often beneficial for various injuries.
