Please come promptly for your appointment (unless you need to fill the forms). If you come too early, I may still be with another client.  If you are late, I can offer you a reduced treatment within your time slot for the full price.

Depending on the need and mutual agreement, your treatment will either include one approach, say acupuncture or cupping  or be a mix. In general, I use acupuncture with the elements of tuina. Chronic and difficult cases may need more time. Please note that the initial consultation lasts longer (up to 1h40min).

What to wear

Acupuncture.  Please come in soft, loose, simple clothing as it will be easy to access the skin for needling legs and arms. If other parts of the body will be required to be needled then you will be asked to take off your top or trousers / skirt (depending on the need).

Tuina. If you come for tui na, please come in soft, loose, simple clothing as otherwise the applied techniques may loose their practicability, while assisted stretching may become impossible.

Please wear no jeans, no skirt and no dress.

The Tuina medicinal massage and singing bowl massage is applied through clothing, when you either lie down on a massage table or are seated, depending on the condition. You will be covered with a cotton sheet which facilitates the smoothness of the techniques used. Occasionally, a special ointment can be rubbed into the skin to help with deep muscle work, or a massage oil may be rubbed into the neck, hands or feet.

Cupping, cupping massage and gua sha are applied to the bare skin so it is necessary to remove some of your clothes, e.g. a top. Please be also aware that cupping may leave some bruising that will disappear usually within a week time. Gua sha leaves bruising, so please be aware of that too.

My Mission

I want to provide you with the best and most effective complementary care possible.

I am here to help you get well physically, mentally and emotionally so that you can enjoy your Zesty Life.

Acupuncture is used to alleviate pain and to treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions. It works powerfully by adjusting the nervous system, improving blood flow, stimulating stem cell release to injury sites, and helping various body systems to become active.

Facial rejuvenation

Facial rejuvenation involves face acupuncture, massage and a healing mask. It can reduce wrinkles, eliminate fine lines, lift sagging skin and improve skin colour and texture.

Herbal medicine offers a safe and effective therapy that is used to awaken the body’s natural processes and encourage healing. Herbs work truly powerfully to correct imbalances between organs: address both deficiencies and excesses (e.g. oedema) and facilitate  well-being.

Tuina massage softens tense muscles, mobilises joints and tendons and gets the blood and lymph moving. It works on the nervous system and improves the functioning of the internal organs.

Cupping  improves circulation, eases pain and inflammation, and achieve relaxation. It may work as a deep-tissue massage which is often beneficial for various injuries.

Gua sha

Gua sha healing massage can lead to an immediate relief from pain, stiffness, fever, cough or nausea. It works well for acute and chronic organ disorders.

Singing bowls make sound that reach into every cell of the body giving a feeling of harmony, relaxation and joy. This is effective for people with an active lifestyle, resigned, depressed, burned or stressed-out.
